Hopefully the snow was soft and there isn't too much damage.
I have spent a bit of time on Alpine slopes and those snowbanks look like hard lumps of ice covered with a dusting of snow. On skis you keep well away from them. I seem to recall finding that out the hard way, although without serious injury - ouch!
