On the simple Skydemon question though, SD, like many planning tools computes the point of FIR crossing automatically if the pilot has merely straddled the FIR with a DCT between two points. It does this as a convenience because an EET and and identified crossing point on the FIR is a FPL requirement. One that many ignore.
