Andy Murray

Sad to see AM possibly about to hang up his raquet. I think he’s a been a great ambassador for tennis, and sport in general. He needed a few of his sharp corners knocked knocked off him when he first started, but he has matured into a likeable and very skilled competitor. He’s not afraid to take the mickey out of himself and is very self deprecating.

I know one one shouldn’t feel sorry for a 31 year old multi millionaire but his announcement on Friday was heartfelt and he should be very proud of all he has achieved.

An epic match today for him to possibly go out on too. Flashes of the old talent were there and at least it was a genuine tussle, not a straight sets drubbing.
