Redding Air Service Inc. is accepting resumes for a full time utility pilot to be located in Chico, CA.
This is for a year round exclusive use contract. You would be the primary pilot, with other company pilots covering on your days off.
The work week is four 10 hour days followed by three days on 90 minute call out, although it is rare to be called out on a weekend. (Having said that, yours truly got called out on Christmas day due to power outages). The contract averages between 400 and 600 flight hours per year.
Excellent pay and benefit package commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate would possess the following minimum experience and qualities:
- FAA Commercial certificate
- Second class medical
- US citizen
- 3500 Hrs. Total Time
- 500 Hrs. Turbine Time
- 50 Hrs. BH 407
- Good mountain flying skills
- Good long line skills
- Be able to pass the DOI Short Haul practical test
- Experience in power line patrols
- Able to work without direct supervision
- Team orientated
- Good computer skills
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Must be willing to relocate to Chico, CA or within 30 minutes drive.
