I’ve just spent half an hour or so reading this thread, but would like to see what people’s thoughts are on the following:

1) I’ve not changed my UK licence, and I’ve missed the “suggested deadline” - I’m going to go for it anyway, so has anyone got any insight into which country might scrape it through in time? (Irish sound busy, as Austria have done lots for EasyJet they might be quieter now)

2) if as I suspect I don’t make it in time - will I really have to sit all 14 exams again & do flight training in Europe to get an EASA licence. Or do people think that in time the UK CAA and EASA will create a legal framework to convert licences?

3) how will this work for SFI instructors at places like CAE/FlightSafety in the USA who have UK issues approvals? Will they no longer be able to train and sign off LPC’s for EASA licences? I’m unfamiliar with what qualifications & processes instructors have to go through.
