It's what you get when you employ a civilian maintenance organisation which is not unknown for its 'cost cutting' procedures (and
presumably chosen on the basis of the lowest of 3 bids) to maintain a simple aircraft to military standards including keeping records of
all work carried out on each and every aircraft.
