Here is one council that is protecting the local unregistered airfield by a (draft) plan, released this week, that seeks to prohibit activities on nearby land use that could adversely affect flight safety.
The backstory is that some landowners were campaigning for airfield restrictions to combat noise and low flying and disturbance to livestock.
As a result, landowners now will have to apply for permits to conduct activities on their own land, that could be hazardous to flight!
