Are they paying for accommodation as well when they are sending you across their bases? Because I have friends in Spain and Italy and they have to look after hotac. And they are on the new contract.
From the training contract:
"4.3 You may be rostered to operate flights from bases other than your line training base subject
to operational requirements. In this circumstances you will be provided with hotel
accommodation and paid an out of base supplement. Positioning to/ from a base that is not
your line training base will be rostered prior to and after a block of 5 duty days."
