If they see that you perform above average during assessment you will have a very good chances.

There is a xls document that you need to fill out and submit it as an application, and if one of the lines is red and not green (one line is specific regarding the minimum 300 hours), then it is null.
I have asked a tone of people from recruiting to FO and captains regarding this and they all said don’t even bother if you have less than 300.
