What Stansted needs is another handling agent to add to the mix. Swissport is far too dominant at Stansted and clearly can not cope. Ryanair would be so much better off to go self handling.
Over the years the ground handling companies have driven themselves out of business, the likes of Aviance, Servisair, GlobeGround, Aviator, etc have all disappeared or withdrawn from the market. BA had a debacle at LGW and have had to effectively bring their handling in-house due to the collapse of their handling agent, maybe Servisair? MAG have similar problems at MAN with poor ground handling performance. Cheap manual labour is going to become even harder to find, I don't see this getting much better.
