Every airline is hiring at home. The legacies and cargo guys are all hiring big time. LCCs with great contracts and Regionals with sign on bonuses/flow thru deals. It makes no sense to go there at this point unless one is significantly older and wants to fly a WB before retirement. The large training bond and the inability to interview back in the states make it a very undesirable option for any American pilot at this point. Different story of course for folks from other countries with completely different situations. I have many American friends who used to work there who have managed to escape. Here’s some advice, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.
