By curiosity, I have done a small search via LinkedIn to estimate what is the probability of a non-Irish candidate to get a final offer for this programme.
I came up with an estimated value of less than 3%, meaning that almost all the cadets are Irish, or seeing with another perspective, a non-Irish would be hired every two programmes.
I completely understand this trend since Aer Lingus is a flag company, indicating that they prefer to give priority to their nationals.
My final conclusion is that, if you are not Irish, then you must have an incredible CV, much probably with aviation related highlights, and be, let's say, in the top 5 of all applicants.
I hope all my numbers and conclusions are completely wrong!! AHah
Have you ever thought about this? If yes, what is your opinion on the subject?
