More quotes from the "Chairman"

As our esteemed leader seems committed to indoctrinating us with the quotes of the 20th Century's preeminent mass murderer, here are a few more i'm sure she can use in her forthcoming weekly newsletters:

1) All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party. (referring to Swire management)

2) People say that poverty is bad, but in fact poverty is good. The poorer people are, the more revolutionary they are. It is dreadful to imagine a time when everyone will be rich... From a surplus of calories people will have two heads and four legs. (that one is especially for the HKPA members)

3) When there is not enough to eat, people starve to death. It is better to let half of the people die so that the other half can eat their fill. (something to do with the present pay scales)

4) Don't make a fuss about a world war. At most, people die... Half the population wiped out - this happened quite a few times in Chinese history... It's best if half the population is left, next best one-third... (that Mao was a stand-up guy, I can understand why he is obviously one of AT's heroes)

5) When the enemy advances, withdraw; when he stops, harass; when he tires, strike; when he retreats, pursue. (CX management strategy)

6) Deaths have benefits. They can fertilise the ground.( I LOVE this guy!)

7) All genuine knowledge originates in direct experience. (other than when it comes to crewing CX aircraft. You need to do more Mao study AT)

8) Civilize the mind but make savage the body. (umm, I can't help but picture AT on a date )

9) We must have faith, first, that the peasant masses are ready to advance step by step along the road of socialism under the leadership of the Party, and second, that the Party is capable of leading the peasants along this road. These two points are the essence of the matter, the main current. (sounds like the latest Fleet Forums)

10) Look at World War II, at Hitler's cruelty. The more cruelty, the more enthusiasm for revolution. (well AT, you are about to get our revolution!)

11) Disaster and chaos are always good. (it's obvious that AT is a true disciple, as she is excelling in this Mao thought)

12) The comrades throughout the Party must take all this fully into account and be prepared to overcome all difficulties with an indomitable will and in a planned way. The reactionary forces and we both have difficulties. But the difficulties of the reactionary forces are insurmountable because they are forces on the verge of death and have no future. Our difficulties can be overcome because we are new and rising forces and have a bright future. (quote from the latest Swire management meeting)

13) That has less significance than a dog's fart. (rather how I feel about anything this management has to say)

14) Morality begins at the point of a gun. (that one is engraved in granite in the lobby of Swire House)

15) In waking a tiger, use a long stick. (you didn't use a long enough stick AT, and now the tiger <pilots> is awake)

16) Oxford shirts. Definitely more oxford shirts. (there must have been Swire managers around Mao during that time)

17) Who are our enemies? Who are our friends? This is a question of the first importance for the revolution. (who are your 'friends' AT? I speak to you fairly regularly, with a smile on my face )

18) Despise Your enemy strategically, but take him seriously tactically. (that is your mistake AT)

19) On all basic points our policies have proved correct from the very beginning. (this is what the Swire management tell themselves every weekly meeting, in spite of the ongoing chaos around them)

20) It's always darkest before it becomes totally black. (describes the career potential for any CX pilot who makes the mistake of staying)

There are so many AT, just thought i'd throw a few your way that you can include each week (other than the weeks you must be planning on dedicating to Stalin and Hitler).
