Good point Bloggsy, to be fair to me though I was commenting on the vid as I saw it happen and made the general point.
There’s a famous vid online of WLG on a typical sporty day where a dash 8 almost bumps it’s bum thanks to the same phenomena..given a bit more energy and inertia you can mitigate the worst affects on a gusty day if you deem it sensible enough to fly the approach
