Bureau of Aircraft Accidents Archives who record accidents involving aircraft capable of carrying 6 or more passengers, and where an accident results in an aircraft being withdrawn from service. They include several classes of aviation including military, balloons etc.
They record 101 accidents and 399 fatalities for 2017, which historically is still a low figure.
