British Aerospace Flying College Prestwick.

Hi Guys,

I'm feeling a bit nostalgic and wondered if there are any pruners out there that are ex "Flying College." I was 1997 - 1999 CAP 509 course 97082. Any others???

Cheers

EO.

Not a 'Prestwick’ Nigel but wondered if you or others had any news of David Martin (Ex BA) who was at onetime Principal at Prestwick.

Warmair,

Probably not much use, but David was my boss on the L1011 at BA and the best training manager we ever had. Probably not too politically correct but it was the time of change when BOAC and BEA were forced together.

I visited with Dave after he moved to Bae and he had an office at Farnborough. That would have been around 1990 or so.

I was a "upgrader" there in June 99, can't remember when I finished, it took longer than expected as they were moving to Spain...
Bumped into Jeff Mew in Doha last year, he is working at the College.

Is there a facebook page on the college? i can't find one. Might be an Idea to start one and that would be kind of cool to hook up with a few people...

I was a jet sim instructor there from late 1996 to late 200 (then relocated to Jerez for another 3 years). Quite a few BA Cadets will have been among my victims!
