Dave Tolley

Thought I'd try one more time. Anyone know anything about Dave Tolley post-BA ?

His parents used to run The Bulls Head in Barnes. A quality hostelry !

I used to know Dave during my BA time,in fact he flew with me on my penultimate trip before retirement. I also live in Barnes when in London and will visit in early October. I will enquire at the Bull.

Thanks Foul-Sudan. Interesting name by-the-way ! I only met Cpt Tolley once when he let me on the flight deck of his 747 classic mid-flight LAX-LHR. Oh the good ole days before the terrorists ruined it for aspiring children. When I mentioned his name to Alex Jones who was doing my check at Denham, Alex told me about some great times at the Bulls Head and mentioned how much he'd like to hear from him. That's the reason for my post. Let me know how your visit to the pub goes. Cheers !

I regret to inform all who knew Dave that BA Pensions has indicated via its
'Absent Friends" section that he has died aged 69.
My condolences to his family and close friends. I am unaware of the circumstances other than it was too early, RIP

Was he not a cadet at "Sleaford Tech" in the 60s?

Believe he was Hamble Graduate Entry abbreviated course ~late 1965, so although I didn't know him well I doubt he ever wore the light blue.
