Do you want to fly for free? (A330/B737/CRJ/Q400)

We are hiring pilots in Arikair (wings of Nigeria) any pilot, any position, any fleet.
Please be adviced you will fly for free as the pilots that are already working for the airline, they are still waiting for October 2016 salary onwards, so please do not be in a hurry about your USD.

Do not forget to bring your own uniform, pay for your tickets and VISA expenses.

If you are not interested but know of anyone who may be, please feel free to forward this message to him/her.

Regards.

Sounds good - Is a PPL and some home flight simulator experience good enough?

He was sent to jail as soon as the government took control of the company last February, I don't know if he is still there or in Hawai or Bahamas on vacation, now the one that does not pay salaries is the government it self.

Twas the same 50 years ago in Nigeria.
I went there for a B737 post they insisted i had the rating,
So I got it in Carolina at my own expense.
Back in Nigeria I was kept waiting for months.
The DCA head honcho wouldn't recognise my licence , without a bribe of £5000 ( one years salary then)
So naturally I left.
(Funnily enough I decided to fly "freight" into ULI instead.
I found the Biafrans extremely competent to deal with.)
After a coup in Lagos that head of DCA scarpered to UK with a fortune
The new regime got an Israeli team to catch him ,
and he was in a packing case at Stansted ready to be flown back to Lagos
Unfortunately, the Brits rescued him.
I don't know what became of him after that

How does this airline remain in operation under these circumstances ? People are staying on board and flying (and fixing) the airplanes with months unpaid ?
