Crew Contracts

I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with this; before signing a pilot contract, what are the consequences of not complying with a flight crew contract from Rishworth, Parc or FCI? Especially as they try to "bond" their pilots and usually let them hang out to dry. Are they able to sue?

I'm asking as it seems nowadays a lot of airlines in Asia and Middle East promise a lot more than comply with...
What means "under law of Isle of Wright"?

Thank you in advance for any advise...
