Breaking Contract with Recruiting Agency

I believe many here are working in companies and got recruited through their agencies. Has anyone in the past left the job in South East Asia, Asia-Pacific region before the stipulated contract time? How did you guys deal with the training bond or contract?

I believe if you get a job through a recruiting agency, you sign a training bond with most airlines or agencies. Do you guys pay it up in monthly payments or not pay it at all, or negotiate with the company? And how is it enforceable if one doesn't pay? What are the repercussions?

Just trying to get an idea. Maybe go back home earlier (a year or so). I get mixed opinions, some say training bonds are just piece of paper, some are really scared about it etc.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
