Emirates Recruiting

I see on page 43 of todays Times that Emirates need 11000 more staff - 450 of which to be pilots - by March next year. Jobs for all perhaps?

Exclamation

Having read the middle east forums; I would be shocked if anybody applied to work for these crooks. It's clear that this company wishes to continue the March to the bottom, and clearly they will happily renege on promises made in order to do that. A unionised European or American job should be treasured over this mob. 92 hours standard schedule per month, no overtime and that is factorised flying. 8 days off maximum per month, no blocks greater than three. They measure fatigue on the basis of blood pressure In order to intimate exhausted pilots to work. The regulations they work to are illegal under almost any other authority. This is because they control the regulator in the UAE.

This job is only for those desperate or who need experience. It's not a career move for you and your family.

As a DEC on the 330 you'll end up as Capt 380 or 777 in 2 years. Last 330 to be gone by end of 2016.
