EK on-line application form

EK are recruiting, so you might want to know all of their current requirements before committing your two days off to completing their on-line application form?

Currently, Emirates' minimum requirements are as follows:

"First Officers

- A minimum of 4000 hours total flying time including 2000 hrs on multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft. (Note 1)
- OR - 2500 hrs on modern EFIS multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft with a MTOW of greater than 30T
- ICAO ATPL (not frozen)
- Age. Before 52nd birthday at date of joining (Note 2)
- Preference will be given to applicants with international commercial airline experience

Note 1. 25% of P3 or FEO time (to a maximum of 500 hrs) can be counted towards the 4000hrs total time. This cannot be counted to either the 2000 or 2500 hrs jet experience.

Note 2. Candidates passed their 49th birthday are required to have command experience on multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft with a MTOW greater than 10T.

Yours sincerely,
Pilot Recruitment

Note the supplementary age restrictions.

Once you have tackled the first x pages of the form they let you have the medical requirements too, which run to seven pages and apply in addition to holding an unrestricted class one, PM me if you'd like a copy.

Almost!

The website doesn't mention the age restrictions, or detail the medical requirements.
