It's the same story every year.
Many of the small turkish companies operates this way. No salaries during winter months.

... yet the idio... I mean pilots keep showing up with checks in their hand for that coveted line training.

... and then coming here complaining how the T&C's are in the crapper.

... and even worse yet, CONTINUING to work while not getting paid.

Oh, the irony... is it any wonder that pilots are quickly becoming the laughing stock of the industry?

Exclamation Stop!

Must be a great climate on board. Cockpit not paid, cabin not paid, mechanics not paid for two month. Would I want to be a pax on that company? Is that safe?

I spoke to one of the captains last week at security and asked him 'why are you still working?' He mentioned that a few collegues decided not to show up
for work anymore and received a dreadfull letter the next day. Job gone - money gone. Validation and work permit canceled.

The owner will get away with it as long as pilots finally start to stick together. He probably knows that this is never going to happen. Isn't there a pilot union in Turkey,TALPA? Do they know?

What about the sister company in Germany (German Sky Airlines)? Are they not getting paid either?

If the owner really buys expensive toys for himself and at the same time doesn't pay his employees, maybe it's time to take those toys away from him. Get a good lawyer!

"Job gone - money gone"

If you're not being paid for months on end, I'd consider it not to be a job anyway. And as for the money gone? Well, if you're not being paid......

They could always get a French lawyer to put a lien on the aircraft, if they operate to France.

Don't you just love it when pilots stick together?

What are the idiots doing still at work??? Self-inflicted injury, that. No sympathy.
