They have to do a head count now, that boy just got on the first aircraft that was boarding, could have been any airline.

Most of the blame should go to the airport security not the airline!

I read somewhere that the young stowaway was in a toilet during the headcount.

This thread is supposed to be about pilot recruitment at jet2.
Should all of this other rubbish not be on another thread?

Calm down. See post 1301 for latest gen.....I doubt there's been much change in 9 days.
This is how it will go ; jet 2 will recruit this year for next year. Everybody applies; we got thousands of posts saying " have you heard anything ?" 15 mins after applying. Jet2 choose who to interview - we get thousands of posts saying " does anyone know how to pass the selection ?". We then get thousands of posts saying " have you heard anything ?", whilst surmising various theories about whether it's good or bad to hear anything.

Next year some get a job. The end.

Heard through the grapevine they are mainly looking this recruitment season for rated guys, a few former military pilots and a few cadets through OAA.

They had a couple of recruitment sessions with the BMI baby guys, I would be surprised if they don't take most of the rated guys from this source.

Hello,

My CV is in the Jet2 database, but since there are no opened flight crew positions on their website which I can apply for, I'm not sure having my CV somewhere in there is enough.

Anyone working for Jet2 have a tip?

Thank you

Probably good, but remember they are going directly to the BMI Baby pilots so it depends on how many come over and work for Jet2

Do you know how to get my CV on the recuiter's desk? Even if the chances I get an interview are very small, I'd like to try...

Thanks

Applications are closed, you can create a profile on the website and request an email alert when they open again.

Do you mind to share it with us in (slightly) deeper details, then? I also had a chat a while ago with Casey but then Astraeus went tits and now BMI Baby has its head on the block. Have had an application in for ages now, can't believe they are still interested in no-TR folks...

Boeing Europe said earlier on the post he had a thousand hours on type, unfortunelately for us... Do you mind sharing how you got in touch with the hiring team, and eventually sharing an e mail or phone number by PM?

Thanks
