Pay cuts

Does anyone know the legal aspects involved in re-allocating crew from one type to another where the pay scale is considerably lower than the originating type? Would it make any difference if the original type was being phased out?

"Legal aspects" apply only if you are governed by a collective bargaining agreement; aka: "Union." Without that you may be paid as little as it takes to keep you working as a slave.

Glueball is spot on. Those in Ryanair who are thinking of voting against union recognition would be well served by remembering it.
