A320neo brake vibrations?
Hello,
The other day as a passenger onboard an a320neo I felt strong vibrations during braking at low speed when pulling into stand.
During the landing roll out and subsequent braking right after vacating there was nothing out of the ordinary. However when turning into the apron and onto stand there was significant vibrations in the entire aircraft every time slightly ”firm” braking was applied. During very light braking there was nothing, but as soon as slightly more brake pressure was applied the vibrations started and ended instantly when brake pressure was released.
To add to this, yes there was light rain and the apron was damp, however the vibrations were so distinct that I don’t believe this played any part.
Now I have flown onboard A320’s and neo’s in the past but have never experienced anything like this. If this would’ve been on a car I would’ve instantly thought of warped rotors, however I strongly doubt that was the case.
Has anyone experienced something similar, or perhaps can explain what caused this? Would be interesting to know!

Not unique to the NEO, just depends on who makes the brakes and how hot they are. As aerocat says it’s worse with warm brakes. Nuke them or keep them cold and it’s not really a problem.
