thanks trip,
down under, Tiger was supposed to be getting sharklets, but I have only seen one on the Adelaide-SYD run. Virgin has a sharklet 320, but only one I know of.
I have seen no split scimitar down under.

Puzzled ...

yesterday I posted a history of winglets and two links- at teh end of the comments of the second link was a ' similar' story- It was similar since I had forgotten that I had posted that comment - under my name- in 2014- in response to a not well received article which had lots of opinion- biased and little facts. Not too surprising that it was essentiually the same. I did not discover that until several hours AFTER I had posted- and had decided to read ALL the comments for the link.

So in my post yesterday - I added some comments which said truthfully I had not copied or paraphrased that comment without attrtibution- and ended with a smiley - I thought/assumed that anyone reading would understand I had told the same factual story/comment in the same way simply cuz I was the same person.

Apparently the moderators did not agree... sad...
