C208 FOD reduction using inertial separator?
From what I have seen of the 1st stage blades, the inertial separator does very little to reduce FOD ingestion on unsealed airstrips. Do all operators of the Caravan use the inertial separator on the ground whilst taxing downwind on unsealed runways? It seems just as likely that the FOD is being ingested through the separator outlet. Has anyone looked further into this?
