L1011 AFCS Status indicator

Hello,

Could anyone please help me as to what the other indications of L1011 AFCS Status indicator might be please? I have searched the web/manuals and found nothing.

So we have pitch off, roll off, ats off white letters on black background.

I would guess on would be pitch on, roll on, ats in black letters on a white background??

Any other indications?

Hi edetroit,

It's been a long while, but I seem to remember the annunciators were triangular and able to display up to 3 sides each (hence the two test buttons to be able to view all 3 sides).

More pictures here.

Thankyou for your reply rudderrudderrat,

I am pretty sure there are three sides to each annunciator, the backgrounds of which will be black, white and amber.

What I need to know is what is written on the white and amber backgrounds.

I see no pics or information about the AFCS STATUS indicator in your link.

Ask on the military forum as there should be some RAF pilots with recent experience on the Tristar. It is a shame the 411A is no longer with us as he would have given you a full answer.
