AF B743

Does anyone know how if AF's B743s had 2 or 3 A/Ps?
AF's B741 and B742 had only 2 A/Ps hence the green placard next to A/Ps.

I dont know about AF but the QF 747 200s had 2 APs while their 747 300s had 3.

They also had two in the B747-300.

So what does two autopilots allow versus one and what does three allow versus two?

Were AF the only ones with that green placard next to to the 2 A/Ps?
