Chambery airport. I need your advise.

I'm going to fly to Chambery LFLB by 757. Experienced pilots, would you give me some advices? Did you have any problems with such steep GS 4.46? Thanks a lot.

If you haven't practiced in a simulator then don't go!

Full flap to handle steep glideslope? Read about:
Configure bleeds off?
ILS 18 steep approach, action in event of go-around.
How to break off for circling approach to Runway 36. Visual aiming points in the circuit. Action in event of go-around on 36 (into another circuit or backtrack on ILS?)
Departure procedure Runway 18
Departure procedure Runway 36
Are you happy with backbeam ILS tracking?

There is only one way in, and it is the same way out. Expect holding before approach. Carefully look at where to hold.

Chambery needs a lot of preparation

But such a lovely view on the approach!

You can also expect ****ty surface conditions this time of year.

Just land at Lyon and bus them to Chambery!

Training Required

Since prior training is mandatory at Chambery for a transport aircraft (according to the French AIP) I hope you aren't going to just show up in a 757 with a copy of the approach plate and a PPrune printout...
