FYI BVC is always a nightstop, SAL from southern bases is there and back Northerne bases a nightstop due to FTL.

Eventually the load came down or it tech stopped with crew change

Caledonian used a DC10 so it was well able to handle the range.(About 6 hrs so same as New York)
