Overflying Iraq

Whilst looking at FR24 today i noticed that some of TK's flights to the middle-east route directly over Iraq while some route around as do the majority of other airlines.
Example northbound RUH,BAH,DXB to IST have overflown Iraq but AUH and DMM have gone around on the same tracks as EK etc and southbound IST to DOH and DXB have overflown.

Does Anyone have a reason for this as i thought it was not advised still hence everyone else going the long way round.

Middle East Airlines always fly over Iraq for some reason.
