Corsair over Sandhurst
Last thursday late afternoon i was walking the dog alongside the Blackwater River and my ears pricked up to an unusual sound which soon appeared above me looking a lot like a F4-U Corsair . Was I dreaming? I have not seen one before and although it was pretty low and appeared to have USN markings , Ruskie radials are common here so I wanted to make sure Iwasn't seeing things.
I hope I wasn't as it was something to see (and hear) albeit not going that fast and with the mighty radial kind of chugging along at low revs.
Any confirmations please? It was headed north west and about 1000-1500 ft subject to all the usual warnings about estimating height

Could well have been The Fighter Collection's Corsair - pic below from their website.
