What aircraft?

Just two idle sort of enquiries really.
I collected number one son and daughter-in-law from Newquay airport yesterday evening (20.10 Flybe from Gatwick). I thought it would have be a propeller job but son told me that it was a jet. What might it have been?

Heard a mighty noise to-day, looked up and there was an Apache hovering over Penzance. Haven't seen one of those over this way before. Visiting Culdrose perhaps? We normally see Merlins from there.

Didn't he read the safety card?

Having flown a few times in the Embraer family, i have to say that i'm very impressed with it's performance and comfort (for it's size). I wonder how CityJet's new Sukhoi https://www.cityjet.com/news/cityjet...t-ssj100.shtml will fare against the Embraer in comfort and ability ?

By chance I got to see one of these earlier today at the MX facility of Cityjet and it looks pretty nice, like a thinner version of the A318.

Probably not, he's terrified of flying and only got on the aeroplane because his other half persuaded him that it was quicker and easier by air. In the event it was over an hour late taking off and landing. It was still quicker than the train though from Horley to Penzance.

Fabuloso. Mrs. RedhillPhil was Miss Tregurtha born in Warwick House. She's come home.

What ???? AerLingus can't have been very happy about that, or maybe they just support the sure thing of the Rugby team ?

Glad to hear it Phil! Well over 40 years since I lived there, still feels like home every time I visit... Apaches are nowt to do with me, more used to the much missed Scilly service... Careers Day at Humphrey Davey?

Re the Superjet, must keep an eye open, never seen one...
