Easy Airbus with big winglets????
I live 3 miles out on the 27 centreline at Liverpool....this afternoon I saw an unusual Easy Airbus??....had huge winglets more akin to the size on a 737....

Is it a mod or a new model in service.

Hi Airbus call these winglets Sharklets available on new delivery aircraft also Airbus working on a retrofit kit for older models

Some are retrofitted (A320) and new deliveries come with them with the new interior too all designed to improve efficiency.

I see...thank you...I wonder if Easy are retro fitting the entire fleet of 320s ???

I believe most of the A320s will - it's fairly minor mod plus a software upgrade but the A319s will not as they will leave the fleet sooner and I'm not sure if it's currently possible to retrofit them on to the A319s.
