I wonder if the underwriter had a 'moment' watching that ? Great to watch I'm sure, but you have to wonder…

Did he keep the gear down to cushion the impact if he screwed it up?

Judging by the rather rapid spoileron application after takeoff it looks like a bit too much focus was made on a fun banking angle than AOA! Hurrah for GE and aerodynamics!

Wink

Perhaps he was just testing the tie downs whilst not too far from the ground

Nice rolls. Would have been fun to be aboard.

Way stupid IMHO. Reminds me of the fatal B-52 "hotdogging". Low and slow.

He struggles to correct after trying to set runway heading on climb away. See the continuous coarse control movements, including large rudder deflection.

Another view:

Crosswind from right of aircraft.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it. I wonder why they didn't request a flyby at low-level and waggle the wings in safety ?

He ain't going slow and has absolutely no resemblance to the B52 crash! Angle and lens length play part in making it look very slow.

V2+10 is slow at large bank angles.

However, I can concede that the bank angle might be less than what we think.

Slow, low, dirty... not a good combination, specially if not practiced beforehand.

Only an observer of planes, albeit for over forty years, and not a pilot. Also accept that lens/camera effects may be in play.

The first roll, to left, looks smooth and co-ordinated. That to right looks rough and almost as though effects were not quite those planned for.......
