Goodwood Revival Sunday 14th September

At the event today and very good it was. About 1545 some WW2 aircraft took off and one aircraft had a problem retracting his undercarriage. It flew around a bit with the wheels down and the emergency services were scrambled and everybody stood back and waited for a possible problem landing. In the event the aircraft went off somewhere else and everything returned to normal. Anybody know where it went and what the outcome was.

Mustang, went back to Duxford and landed safely, according to people on Flyer forum.

Thanks for that and good result. Did not think that it was a Mustang but I was obviously wrong.
