It's all subjective. Personally, there's not much about it that appeals to me.

I remember the 720's they had in those colours. It's ok, but personally there are some of the other retro schemes that look nicer, AerLingus, Delta, Air France, Alitalia etc. Beauty is in the eye of the wotsit

I'm all for these nostalgic retro schemes but a little polished bare metal is required to make it truly retro! Or even metallic paint?
Nice to see all the same

Looks quite good to me, but nothing has ever looked as good as a Super VC 10 in BOAC/Cunard livery.

The BEA 'Red Square' (and even the preceding livery with red cheat lines and prominent Union Flag on the tail?). Also the VARIG 'classic' scheme from the 1960s to 1990s. Must confess to connections with both!

Now I think you couldn't beat court line, the orange-yellow version was my favourite.

Has any other airline ever operated with what is essentially the same livery, but in a range of different colours?

BKS

Braniff used to paint its planes all over in one colour - but it was a different colour for each type. They weren't all " Big Oranges".
