Why? If it was last year, it was at least 8 months ago, and obviously no collision resulted.

If you know details worthy of discussion -- maybe resulting from the investigation -- then please post them.

Why did they not put the Continental FP readback on to another frequency?

Nearly a minute sounds a long time to be taking up an extremely busy frequency and controller.
