EK Airbus A330

I was in Hartford ( near Northwich, Cheshire) yesterday and it is right under the flightpath so was happily plane spotting.

I saw an Emirates aircraft and initially thought it was the 777 but it seemed too small so it must have been the A330.

Thing was it was 16:30 so was way out of its usual time slot of 7 am.

Does anyone know what it was doing flying in at that time?

Thanks.

The only thing at that time which could perhaps be confused with Emirates from a distance was a STRATEGIC A320 inbound Manchester which passed by just after 16:30. Other than that and to the North was a PIA B777 departing for westbound for JFK. Definitely no Emirates aircraft around. Google photos of Strategic and look at their tail logo.

Hi HT possibly that was it I only caught a glimpse and there was colour on the tail so It may have been that one, esp as you say there were no EK's around at that time.

Did look like an EK tail tho mind::

Thanks for that
