Question QANTAS N707JT Missed Approach

Does anybody know whether John Travolta was PIC N707JT, QANTAS Livery 707 at YMML. The first approach had to have them at least 500 meters right of the localizer abeam Bulla and less than 400 ft AGL when the broke visual today. about 0020Z today.

They went around and came back again on the localizer

Would have made heaps of noise over Bulla today.

I understand that JT does not have the appropriate licence to operate a B707 as PIC.

Imagine the posts about him executing a missed approach if he HAD been captain!!.
If his history was researched, people would discover that he is a much better pilot than he is given credit for!!.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that not only is he qualified as PIC for his 707 he is also qualified as a 747 FO, courtesy of Qantas.

John Travolta’s Boeing 707 at Flightstory.net - Aviation Blog

John Travolta is a pilot with a life long passion for aviation. Since earning his wings in 1974, he has logged close to an astounding 5,000 flying hours. Literally every cent of his first paychecks went to flying lessons. He achieved qualification as a captain in the Gulfstream II, Learjet 24, Hawker 1A, Citation 1 and 2, Tebuan and Vampire Jet. He owns the type rating for the Boeing 707 and is certified for SIC privileges (Second In Command). Travolta keeps his skill up-to-date through continual refresher courses, training at American Airlines, SimuFlite and others.

I don't think so. QANTAS let him attend the sim part of a TR course but he never did the base training in the real aircraft.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the insurers of his 707 require him to have a PIC from a mainstream background. I'm sure he's fully qualified, of course, but presumably doesn't have the hours on type.
