The maintenance organization at 51*02'52,75 N - 1*26'39,80 W always has a lot of potential wrecks lying about, can't remember the name!

If it's at Caterham, it's Paul Nalson who runs it.

Not sure if what forum to put this in but I am a restaurant owner in Manchester, UK. I was wondering if there is some sort of salvage yard around the north of England where i could pick up an old aircraft. To display at one of my restaurant. I would not want to buy a serviceable aircraft cos i would feel bad taking a good aircraft away from someone who may want it to use for what it was made for. So maybe if I could get my hands on an old scraper?
You don't say what kind of size of aircraft you are interested in. It may be worth your while making contact with City Airport (Barton), over near the Trafford Centre. There are a couple of aircraft there which have not flown for many years which may well be for sale. I'm sure the airfield management could put you in contact with the owners.

Have been to Barton just recently, very little in terms of salvage, unless you want pictures of hangars?

Not exactly a scrap yard, but see people may know of some wrecks around and which insurers/owners would be willing to do a deal with you...

There's a couple of Duchess BE76's (light twin engne aircraft) at Wycombe (EGTB) being disposed of. One is "near" airworthy but the other is to be sold as non airworthy. Best person to ask is Dave Phillips at Wycombe 01494 443737.
