Bournemouth International BIA

I live within sight of 26/08 and at 10.30am this morning saw what I thought was a helicopter flying the centre line due to its very low speed and the fact that it wasn't gaining altitude. Unfortunately I was wearing my reading glasses, but could distinctly see a largish 'tail'. It was the size of a GA twin maybe? Now there is a plume of black smoke to the North of the airport. Anyone heard anything?

Airport seems to be operating normally. The fire training ground is located in the north sector of the airport ...which might explain the black smoke!!
