Becoming an Accident Investigator?

Hey all,

Could someone give me a little info about becoming an accident investigator for the AAIB? I haven't found any info on their site or anywhere else for that matter

Jobs are very rare, they take a couple of guys every couple of years. Good if you can get in, they'll pay for you to do all sorts of flying. i.e. if you are a Boeing cargo pilot they will pay for an Airbus rating and tie up with a passenger airline for to fly 1/2 days a week - the rest of the time spent in the office. Very interesting, salary is comparable to line Captain but the pension and perks are much better!

You could investigate the AAIB Website a little more thoroughly.
