Eurofighter @ Manston today!

Just had a close up look at a Eurofighter sitting on the ramp outside the terminal building at Manston this evening. 2 seat version piloted by F/LT Allsop & F/S ?? in the rear seat. BG on the tail I think .
Just wondered what it was doing there? And unless my eye's were deceiving me one of the 2, dressed in black flying suit, was manhandling a large box from the car park into the terminal building!

The Typhoon is based at Manston for the Eastbourne airshow. There should have been two.

The names on the side will not be the pilot (unless by chance). The guys in black, manhandling kit, will almost certainly be groundcrew.

Must still be there - 2 of them were flying large circles just NE/ENE of Kennington (Nth Ashford) on Fri 22nd Aug 2008 @ 17:45. Kept it up for about 15 mins, then headed straight for Manston.

Typhoon activity was also reported on the Manston movements group. However, they were not from /to Manston on the Friday, they left after the previous weekend. No idea why they were in the area
