BA B767 Reject Take-Off in DAR

This happened in Dar-Es-Salaam , Tanzania - HTDA DAR on Friday 8th Aug

While starting the take-off run , it rejected after few seconds due to some engine problems, pax are in hotels and yesterday they were being put in other flights for their onward journey.

Seems to be a major problem as engineers from Nairobi came but could not do much.

Can anyone shed some light to what actually happened, here the BA staff dont want to say or give exact details.

Why do you want to know more? They made a very low speed abort. That means, like you said, that there was an engineproblem that made it necessary to stop. Obviously, It couldn't be fixed immediately so everybody went to hotels.
Unless you are the engineertype who wants to know about the nuts and bolts.
