Guys if the weather is anything like the last few weeks you will be lucky to get anything and the August forecast is for much of the same. 2008 has been a wash out.

Just a reminder that an RAF E-3D Sentry should be doing a flypast tomorrow (Friday 29th) at the airport for the FR Aviation families day at 2:30pm. Followed by a flypast by the Red arrows at 2:45pm & then at 3pm a Qinetiq BAC 1-11 will do a flypast followed by landing for a private event being held at the flying club.

If your not interested in battling the crowds at the seafront, then somewhere near the airport would be a good place to be tomorrow afternoon

Good times

The airshow was pretty placid on Thursday with only the Eurofighter Typhoon making a big racket and the Falcon's parachute team cloudbased out.

Liked all the displays though, down the beach between the two piers. The Lancaster was probably the best received flight, local demographics and all!

Friday better with the Rarrers, Gnat, Vixen and more - weekend weather forecast a lot better if you're going.
