It says clearly that a TR and a University degree will be VALUED, so it's not mandatory but beneficial to the outcome of your application. It also says that Spanish ICAO Level 6 is required if you're not a Spanish native.

Air Europa is known to have had very high entry requirements for the past decade or more. They required a university degree and vast flight experience, given the conversion that they did of the hours, which rendered hours flown in anything lower than an airliner jet pretty much worthless. The fact that they're finally considering low experience pilots to start a career with them only speaks about the industry finally taking off after the dark ages that we've all been through. It means that there are not so many unemployed type rated pilots around and that new pilots will be able to start their career after many years of having finished their training. It also means that all the pilots that got laid off after the recession and the trained pilots who couldn't find opportunities abroad after Spanair and Aeromadrid disappeared, are no longer looking for jobs, so companies have to reconsider training new pilots from their first TR.
Good luck to all the applicants! Air Europa is a great company to work for and it's in a Boeing!

My fault, it was a transitory failure on the webpage, and i wrote this thread too fast jajaja

Totally agree, it´s a good time for low and high experienced pilots and hope all we could get a job, with good conditions soon.

Good luck!

Anyway, there are many people without TR and plenty of hours (in general aviation) so sadly let me hesitate about the prospects of low timers with 200 hours.
