won't the so called sophisticated airbus give a warning to the crew that the gear has not been retracted !!

What was there for the Airbus to warn about? The Gear position was as selected ( I.e Down ) and no overspeed condition.

I would have thought the noise and a Sh*t load of vibration might have given it away.

I don't suppose their last aircraft type was a " Twotter "

Removebefore flight, maybe the after take off checklist could give a clue. The most sophisticated warning system should be the pilots. In this case, looks like there were none. Just blame the Airbus. Not my fault, I'm just along for the ride.

@ 220 PSI do agree with you on that one . positive rate of climb - all you get is silence

but there must be 3 green lights staring at them !! dont knw exactly if the airbus has 3 greens for the gear ! my little sweet jet has and its really difficult not to notice it!
